Cheif cells



cheif cells are found in the stomach wall ,

they secret Pepsinogen which is activated into Pepsin in the stomach lumen’s acidity created by HCl secreted from Parietal cells

Pepsin is an Enzyme which digest protiens by breaking them down into smaller & simpler structures called amino acids

The name & function can be memorized easily by the sentenceĀ  ” Cheif of Pepsi-Cola !!
