Sanofi , France based company got FDA approval of its new drug Toujeo®. Toujeo is once daily insulin based on widely used insulin glargine.
February 27, 2015 , Sanofi announces a positive opinion from European Medicines Agency (EMA) recommending approval of Toujeo injection for treatment of type 1 and type 2 diabetic patients.
Toujeo showed higher stability and long control of glycemic conditions than Lantus.
